Colombo Zanotti vs Marco Basile

Boxing Daily Report from the Biira Promotions promoted show at Gianluigi Foglietta Gym, Turin,  taking place on 22/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Piedmont Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colombo Zanotti (9 - 7 - 3) who hails from Novara, Italy and Marco Basile(8 - 11 - 2) from Turin, Italy.  Both Zanotti and Basile weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Beccalossi, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Alatri, Dino Zanotti and Gabriele Novo.  

Round 1: 

Zanotti lands a cross.  
Zanotti closes the distance.  Basile is on target with a left hook.  
Basile sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zanotti hits home with a cross.  Zanotti attempts to land a jab, but Basile dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
