Raiden Otsuka vs Hikaru Yoshihara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Eiji Shimomura Gym, Yokosuka,  taking place on 23/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raiden Otsuka (7 - 5 - 3) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Hikaru Yoshihara(8 - 6 - 3) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Otsuka and Yoshihara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Sonoda, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Uchiyama, Hikaru Ishibashi and Ryo Hagiwara.  

Round 1: 

Otsuka connects with a cross.  
Yoshihara connects with a cross.  
Yoshihara advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Otsuka sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
