Alejandro Matas vs Paco Terrones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Luis Jerez Gym, Zapopan,  taking place on 25/09/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Jalisco have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Jalisco Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Matas (9 - 5 - 1) who hails from Zapopan, Mexico and Paco Terrones(6 - 8(1) - 1) from Guadalajara, Mexico.  Matas weighed in at 244 pounds and 15 ounces, while Terrones weighed in at 237 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quico Mosso, and the three ringside judges are Kiki Calzadilla, Jeraldo Canada and Angel Chavera.
