Fumio Sugita vs Hisoka Nishioka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Rich Stadium, Himeji,  taking place on 25/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hyogo Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fumio Sugita (11 - 8 - 3) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Hisoka Nishioka(5 - 10 - 4) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Sugita and Nishioka weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Furuta, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Saito, Iwao Sumida and Takeo Miyamoto.  

Round 1: 

Nishioka switches the action to the outside.  Sugita sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with an overhand left.
