Gig Montiel vs Joaquin Mascorro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Panama-Panama State promoted show at Panama City Jacome, Panama City,  taking place on 28/09/2026:

Clearly AI Panama-Panama State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gig Montiel (9 - 5(1)) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Joaquin Mascorro(4 - 3 - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Montiel and Mascorro weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Acero, and the three ringside judges are Montel Cueva, Vicente Lama and Roman Borquez.
