Piet Joossens vs Augustien Alaerdt

Boxing Daily Report from the Pianim Promotions promoted show at Pianim Gym, Ghent,  taking place on 26/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Belgium-Flanders Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Piet Joossens (20 - 3) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Augustien Alaerdt(17 - 2 - 2) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Joossens weighed in at 168 pounds, while Alaerdt weighed in at 167 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haas Haenebil, and the three ringside judges are Florent Micault, Justus Van de Zande and Claudy Ollevyere.
