Nori Kubo vs Mikio Oye

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 26/10/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Aichi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nori Kubo (3 - 14 - 3) who hails from Toyota, Japan and Mikio Oye(7 - 8 - 2) from Toyohashi, Japan.  Kubo weighed in at 112 pounds, while Oye weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Matsushima, and the three ringside judges are Mikio Yasuda, Yasushi Jin and Isamu Tano.
