Carlos Moncayo vs Zenon Felix

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Tejeda, Mexico City,  taking place on 26/10/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Distrito Federal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Moncayo (3 - 8 - 5) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Zenon Felix(3 - 15 - 2) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Moncayo and Felix weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sierra Marcano, and the three ringside judges are Larenzo Calvillo, Joaquin Villasenor and Federico Vega.

Felix closes the distance.  Moncayo is on target with a left hook.  
Felix pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.

Felix voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Moncayo accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Felix.  Moncayo lands a right hook.  
Moncayo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Felix strikes his opponents body with a jab.
