Porfio Lema vs Jose Alvear

Boxing Daily Report from the Sribor Promotions promoted show at Quito Casado Gym, Leon,  taking place on 24/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Porfio Lema (4 - 6 - 1) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and Jose Alvear(13 - 6) from Celaya, Mexico.  Lema weighed in at 248 pounds and 15 ounces, while Alvear weighed in at 241 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Cordon, and the three ringside judges are Cipriano Gomez, Cruz Pilar and Juan Gusman.
