Leo Gray vs Bassett Carol

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Oakland�Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland,  taking place on 28/11/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leo Gray (26(23) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Bassett Carol(14 - 3(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Gray and Carol weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Carra, and the three ringside judges are Paul Herring, John Edmundson and Alastair Hankin.  

Round 1: 

Gray steps inside.  Carol lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Gray is looking to close the distance.  Gray sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Gray lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING CAROL TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Gray lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS CAROL TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Gray!
