Gideon Rape vs Laurent Van de Woestyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Empire Boxing promoted show at Rotterdam Wittac, Rotterdam,  taking place on 27/10/2026:

Clearly Empire Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands-South Holland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gideon Rape (3 - 5 - 4) who hails from The Hague, Netherlands and Laurent Van de Woestyn(5 - 7(1) - 8) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Both Rape and Van de Woestyn weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Maeterle Geert, and the three ringside judges are Ruud Mercator, Voet Willaert and Jacques Meynfroot.
