Kyle Kinnie vs Ewan Cook

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Manukau Katipa, Manukau,  taking place on 25/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyle Kinnie (12 - 6 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Ewan Cook(13 - 5 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Kinnie and Cook weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Beynon, and the three ringside judges are Bryan Swineford, Mark Kinzey and Antwan Vaughan.  

Round 1: 

Cook closes the distance and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kinnie is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.
