Vegas Panza vs Onofre Pomales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Auditorio Plaza Condesa, Mexico City,  taking place on 28/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vegas Panza (12(1) - 1) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Onofre Pomales(19(2) - 0) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Panza weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Pomales weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gonzalo Barillas, and the three ringside judges are Aimon Negron, Xavier Livas and Aimon Campillo.
