Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Pinta, Mexicali,  taking place on 28/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Baja California Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Ruvalcaba (16 - 0) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Santiago Godinez(10 - 8 - 4) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Both Ruvalcaba and Godinez weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Porfio Rodriguez, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Campoverde, Jeraldo Toribio and Santiago Ponce.
