Corey Dorward vs Chris Nelson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 26/10/2026:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Wellington have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Corey Dorward (6 - 6 - 6) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Chris Nelson(15 - 3 - 4) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Dorward and Nelson weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Ngarara, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Morgan, Alen Ritchey and Paul Redhead.
