Ryuu Nakata vs Fumio Uehara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Kazuhiko Miura Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Aichi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Nakata (8 - 4(1) - 3) who hails from Okazaki, Japan and Fumio Uehara(4 - 5 - 2) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Nakata and Uehara weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Hirabayashi, and the three ringside judges are Taro Jo, Raiden Okazaki and Raiden Matsui.
