Diego Abaya vs David Baguio

Boxing Daily Report from the Maghakian Promotions promoted show at Onofre Encinas Gym, Lapu-Lapu,  taking place on 29/10/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Abaya (8 - 10 - 3) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and David Baguio(6 - 10) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Both Abaya and Baguio weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Delangel, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Dimanlig, Oihane Tatlonghari and David Makalintal.
