Direnc Gurses vs Demir Tekdemir

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Ankara promoted show at Serkan Calislar Gym, Ankara,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

Clearly AI Turkey-Ankara have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Direnc Gurses (8 - 11(1) - 5) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Demir Tekdemir(4 - 5) from Ankara, Turkey.  Both Gurses and Tekdemir weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bora Ozansoy, and the three ringside judges are Altan Rustu, Hakan Araci and Ilker Gruda.
