Koray Yazicioglu vs Iskender Akchatepe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Izmir promoted show at Izmir Taylan, Izmir,  taking place on 01/10/2026:

Clearly AI Turkey-Izmir have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Koray Yazicioglu (3 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Iskender Akchatepe(17(1) - 4) from Izmir, Turkey.  Yazicioglu weighed in at 134 pounds and 3 ounces, while Akchatepe weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emin Aykut, and the three ringside judges are Ayberk Akinci, Suleyman Topaloglu and Ediz Ahmad.
