Ian Hunter vs Paul Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 06/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ian Hunter (1 - 0) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Paul Owen(10 - 10(1) - 4) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Hunter and Owen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Moreno, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Craddock, Noel Bertram and Malcolm Waldie.

Hunter lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Hunter ties up his opponent.  Owen throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Hunter is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Hunter's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Owen throws a right hook, but Hunter clinches his opponent.  Hunter pushes his forearm into Owen's face.  The referee warns Hunter and breaks the clinch.
