Zachary Chikwava vs Mzikayise Patosi

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/10/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Southern African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zachary Chikwava (15(3) - 0) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Mzikayise Patosi(7 - 4) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Chikwava and Patosi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ubanwa Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Uba Akamenya, David Khumalo and Charel Cilliers.  

Round 1: 

Patosi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Chikwava lands a left hook.
