Charles Ormond vs John Ogunlana

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 12/12/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charles Ormond (14 - 4 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John Ogunlana(15 - 4(3)) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Ormond and Ogunlana weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Moultrie, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Profit, Corey Pait and Neil McAllaster.
