Fraco Varona vs Ximen Ibay

Boxing Daily Report from the Phiri Promotions promoted show at Bacoor Lago, Bacoor,  taking place on 31/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Cavite Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraco Varona (16 - 0) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Ximen Ibay(11 - 3 - 4) from Bacoor, Philippines.  Both Varona and Ibay weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Garzon, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Mieras, Larenzo Digamon and Montego Morillo.
