Fresco Fuerte vs Alejandro Bacallao

Boxing Daily Report from the Boakye Promotions promoted show at Lisandro Savala Gym, Alcala de Henares,  taking place on 31/10/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fresco Fuerte (10 - 5(2) - 4) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Alejandro Bacallao(8 - 6 - 3) from Madrid, Spain.  Fuerte weighed in at 147 pounds, while Bacallao weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Senon Gamero, and the three ringside judges are Ulises De la Fuente, Xaver Lasso and Marjun Miera.  

Round 1: 

Bacallao gets on the inside.  Bacallao sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Fuerte's body.  
Fuerte lands an overhand right.  
Fuerte forces Bacallao to back into the corner.  Fuerte connects with a right uppercut.  
Bacallao lands a right hook.  
Fuerte lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fuerte's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Fuerte's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Fuerte's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Bacallao steps inside.  As Bacallao tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fuerte dabs at his face checking for damage.
