Michael Inness vs Sam Downey

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Fair Expo Center Sunshine Pavilion, Miami,  taking place on 07/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Inness (13 - 9 - 2) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Sam Downey(10 - 0) from Augusta, USA.  Both Inness and Downey weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Arthur, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Wright, James Villasana and Cody Grant.  

Round 1: 

Downey advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
