Aftab Awad vs Mohsin Daley

Boxing Daily Report from the Antwi Promotions promoted show at Dubai Nehme, Dubai,  taking place on 02/11/2026:

Clearly Antwi Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Awad (15 - 5) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Mohsin Daley(11 - 10(1)) from Dubai, UAE.  Awad weighed in at 140 pounds, while Daley weighed in at 139 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Habkouk, and the three ringside judges are Ali Baccash, Obaid Awan and Gazi Maalouf.  

Round 1: 

Daley is looking to close the distance.  Awad lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Awad ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Awad switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a sharp jab.

Daley feints a left hook, and then connects with a cross.  Daley tries to land a cross, but Awad sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.

Daley steps inside and throws a left hook, but Awad clinches his opponent.  Awad pushes his forearm into Daley's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Daley lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Awad strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Awad lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Awad tries to keep the action at long range.  Awad sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
