Charlie Mawejje vs Paul Keko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Rwamirama, Kampala,  taking place on 03/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charlie Mawejje (14(3) - 0) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Paul Keko(7 - 9(1) - 5) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Mawejje and Keko weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Ahsan, and the three ringside judges are Salim Kalemazikusoka, Lloyd Araptany and Ian Magunda.  

Round 1:
