George Merced vs Zelipe Aguilar

Boxing Daily Report from the LoneStar Promotions promoted show at San Antonio Vita, San Antonio,  taking place on 03/11/2026:

Clearly LoneStar Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Merced (11 - 7 - 2) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Zelipe Aguilar(5 - 13 - 4) from Arlington, USA.  Both Merced and Aguilar weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Mings, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Aurelio, Robert Corfield and Bryan Priddy.
