Imran Khar vs Gareth Mbiyu

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 14/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Imran Khar (18(1) - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Gareth Mbiyu(17 - 3(1) - 2) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Khar and Mbiyu weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bwakali, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Magwanga, Tavon Wanga and Joey Keino.
