Mason Dockter vs James Griffin

Boxing Daily Report from the Billy Smith promoted show at Huntsville Patterson, Huntsville,  taking place on 04/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Alabama Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dr Mason Dockter (18(9) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, USA and James Griffin(8 - 4) from Mobile, USA.  Dockter weighed in at 135 pounds, while Griffin weighed in at 134 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mick Urquhart, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Dunn, Brad Temple and Kenzie Lovett.  

Round 1: 

Dockter is on target with a jab.
