Mortimer Marais vs Alen Dargie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Montreal Pigalle, Montreal,  taking place on 18/10/2026:

Clearly AI Canada-Quebec have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mortimer Marais (3 - 0) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Alen Dargie(5 - 10 - 2) from Halifax, Canada.  Marais weighed in at 115 pounds, while Dargie weighed in at 114 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Henry Popkin, and the three ringside judges are Prewitt Gedeon, Briant Sarraute and Destin Dauphin.

You can sense Dargie is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
Frustration is starting to boil over for Dargie now.   He steps inside, but then strikes Marais with a blatant low blow!  The ref halts the action and sends Marais to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Dargie and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.
