Chinedu Otuwe vs Obaid Mir

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Kano Akanji, Kano,  taking place on 07/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chinedu Otuwe (11 - 1) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Obaid Mir(9 - 11(2) - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Otuwe and Mir weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lukman Adoke, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Lagelu, Rehan Pasha and Jay-Jay Ukaegbu.
