David Querry vs Eloi de Backere

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 02/12/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Heat Querry (18(2) - 1 - 1) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Eloi de Backere(18 - 3(1)) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Querry and de Backere weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Grullon, and the three ringside judges are John Torrance, Peter Ronald and Chris Morgan.
