Lavaughn Shanungu vs Dume Msokera

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Kitwe Chintu, Kitwe,  taking place on 12/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lavaughn Shanungu (7 - 10(1) - 3) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Dume Msokera(13 - 0 - 3) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Shanungu and Msokera weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Kamanga, and the three ringside judges are Kadeem Chakwe, Oringo Namomba and Kendis Sipula.  

Round 1: 

Msokera steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Msokera holds on to his opponent.  Msokera is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Msokera and breaks the clinch.
