Rob Aitken vs Mason Frodge

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Marin Orange Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 16/10/2026:

Clearly Basemera Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Aitken (10 - 9 - 2) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Mason Frodge(15 - 0) from Lonueuil, Canada.  Both Aitken and Frodge weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Mark Mostyn, Sinjon Bellanger and Verrier Luna.  

Round 1: 

Frodge lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
