Joaquin Monsalve vs Nasario Gil

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Sancho Daniel Gym, Bogota,  taking place on 16/10/2026:

Clearly AI Colombia-Distrito Capital have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Monsalve (4 - 4) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Nasario Gil(9 - 7 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Monsalve weighed in at 126 pounds, while Gil weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Limones, and the three ringside judges are Franco Minjarez, Leonardo Castano and Noe Orihuela.
