Jin-hyeon Chun vs Jong-ho Jong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-North Jeolla promoted show at Jeonju University Star Center, Jeonju,  taking place on 24/11/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Korea-Gwangju Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jin-hyeon Chun (11(3) - 0) who hails from Gwangju, South Korea and Jong-ho Jong(4 - 7 - 6) from Gwangju, South Korea.  Chun weighed in at 112 pounds, while Jong weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chang-soo Sok, and the three ringside judges are Jong-ho Joe, Chae-min Yoh and Jeong-hyeop Kwock.  

Round 1: 

Chun finds the target with a jab.  
Chun steps inside and connects with a right uppercut.  Chun holds on to his opponent.  Chun leans on his opponent using all his weight. Chun pushes his forearm into Jong's face.  The referee warns Chun and breaks the clinch.  
Chun steps inside.  Chun pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Chun throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chun switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid cross.  
Jong advances into close range.  Chun attempts to land a right hook, but Jong blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jong feints a jab, but Chun does not fall for it and responds with a solid right uppercut.  
Chun lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Jong pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Chun lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Chun clinches his opponent.  Chun is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Chun and breaks the clinch.  
Chun steps away from his opponent and EXPLODES a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  JONG IS HURT!  Jong quickly recovers. 
Chun lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Chun gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Jong's ribs.  
Chun connects with a left uppercut.  
Chun quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chun pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a mean cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE JONG WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Jong quickly recovers. 
Chun advances into close range and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Chun lands a HUGE left hook.  JONG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Jong could be stopped here, if Chun can find the right shot!  Chun lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  It looks like Jong has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Chun lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chun throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Chun holds on to his opponent.  Chun leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chun tries to step out of his opponents range and hits the target with a hard jab.  
Jong sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jong attempts to land a cross, but Chun slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Chun steps to the outside and is on target with a big cross.  JONG IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Chun!
