Bryan Mattie vs George Bates

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Tattershall Club, Sydney,  taking place on 13/11/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bryan Mattie (7 - 9) who hails from Sydney, Australia and George Bates(11 - 7 - 4) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Mattie and Bates weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie Bianchi, and the three ringside judges are Ian Vaughn, Robert Callis and Bob Hails.  

Round 1: 

Bates tries to land a jab, but Mattie blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
