Louis Muepu vs John Chipeta

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 14/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Louis Muepu (24 - 5(3)) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and John Chipeta(16 - 6) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Muepu and Chipeta weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Kamalebo, and the three ringside judges are Simba Bariagher, John Kisombo and Luvolwethu Motupa.
