Saber Du Jeu vs Chrestien Roussel

Boxing Daily Report from the Ossyan Promotions promoted show at Cable Jacob Gym, Douala,  taking place on 15/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Littoral Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saber Du Jeu (5 - 10 - 2) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Chrestien Roussel(9 - 7 - 3) from Douala, Cameroon.  Both Du Jeu and Roussel weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Flannery Ngoudjo, and the three ringside judges are Benedict Atangana, Courvoisier Biya and Verrill Lacourse.  

Round 1: 

Roussel closes the distance.  Du Jeu pivots to the right of his opponent.  Roussel hits home with a right uppercut.  
Roussel advances into close range.  Du Jeu throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Du Jeu connects with a right hook.  
Du Jeu closes the distance.  Roussel drives a left hook into Du Jeu's liver.  
Roussel hits home with a left hook.  Du Jeu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Roussel dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Roussel throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Du Jeu closes the distance.  Du Jeu lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Roussel has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Du Jeu.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
