David Eck vs Brown Okpewho

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Radisson Blu Abidjan Airport, Abidjan,  taking place on 02/12/2026:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Eck (8(1) - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Brown Okpewho(3 - 11 - 1) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Both Eck and Okpewho weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chancellor de Bergerac, and the three ringside judges are Briant Castile, Vermont Oriol and Sinjon Ferro.  

Round 1: 

Eck is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Eck is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.

Okpewho throws a right hook, but Eck ties up his opponent.  Eck uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Okpewho behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Eck to stop fouling.  
Okpewho throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Eck throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Eck ties up his opponent.  Eck leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Eck's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Eck walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Eck is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Eck closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.
