Alec Sadami vs Chigozie Ngwogu

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Radisson Blu Abidjan Airport, Abidjan,  taking place on 02/12/2026:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alec Sadami (9(3) - 0) who hails from Achiaman, Ghana and Chigozie Ngwogu(2 - 2 - 1) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Sadami weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces, while Ngwogu weighed in at 167 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sinjon Ferro, and the three ringside judges are Chancellor de Bergerac, Briant Castile and Vermont Oriol.

Ngwogu walks Sadami down, trapping him in a corner.  Ngwogu is on target with a cross.  
Sadami lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Sadami could be enough to force the stoppage!  Sadami is on target with a WICKED cross.  NGWOGU IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Sadami lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS NGWOGU TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Ngwogu now seems to have his senses back.  
Sadami steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sadami finds the target with a jab.  
Sadami lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sadami gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Sadami holds on to his opponent.  Sadami uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ngwogu behind the head. 
Sadami lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Sadami gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Sadami ties up his opponent.  Sadami is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Sadami and breaks the clinch.  
Sadami switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ngwogu feints a jab, tricking Sadami into countering with a right hook.  Ngwogu is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sadami tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sadami tries to land a jab, but Ngwogu blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  Ngwogu almost instantly gets his legs back.

Sadami feints a cross, fooling Ngwogu into throwing a left hook counter.  Sadami springs the trap and counters with  a forceful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE NGWOGU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ngwogu now seems to have got his legs back.  
Sadami finds the target with a jab.  
Ngwogu steps to the outside.  Sadami feints a right hook, but Ngwogu is not fooled and responds with a cross.  
Sadami lands a FIERCE cross.  NGWOGU IS HURT!  Ngwogu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ngwogu tries to land a cross, but Sadami slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  The ref is taking a close look at Ngwogu.  He takes another big shot from his opponent and the ref stops the action!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Sadami!
