Nasario Plata vs Leonel Sanches

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Holguin promoted show at Diego Raya Gym, Holguin,  taking place on 16/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Holguin Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nasario Plata (17(8) - 0) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Leonel Sanches(6 - 2 - 1) from Holguin, Cuba.  Plata weighed in at 200 pounds, while Sanches weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Mercado, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Mercado, Santiago Arbelaez and Angel Prisco.
