Thierry Queneau vs John Ellis

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Glasgow Lipton, Glasgow,  taking place on 17/11/2026:

Clearly Braveheart have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Celtic Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thierry Queneau (14 - 3(2)) who hails from Brest, France and John Ellis(16(1) - 0) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Queneau and Ellis weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter MacLaughlin, and the three ringside judges are David MacInnes, Martin MacBeth and Gordon Arnott.
