Hernan Salas vs Salvador Carnero

Boxing Daily Report from the Asante Promotions promoted show at Tijuana Cazarez, Tijuana,  taking place on 18/11/2026:

Clearly Asante Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hernan Salas (8 - 6 - 2) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Salvador Carnero(11 - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Salas and Carnero weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sagaz Moya, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Rodriguez, Vicente Navarra and Juan Griego.  

Round 1: 

Carnero lands a sharp cross.
