Theo McSorley vs Leeroy Young

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Massachusetts promoted show at Victor Gubay Gym, Worcester,  taking place on 18/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theo McSorley (3 - 3 - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and Leeroy Young(16 - 9 - 1) from Boston, USA.  McSorley weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces, while Young weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Quadri, and the three ringside judges are Fred Reese, Nathan Burt and Hassan Quadri.  

Round 1: 

Young steps to the outside.  McSorley connects with a cross.  
McSorley steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Young is looking to close the distance and walks McSorley down, trapping him in a corner.  Young pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.
