Denton Messer vs Lucas Stronach

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at La Villita Maverick Plaza, San Antonio,  taking place on 04/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Denton Messer (18 - 0) who hails from Houston, USA and Lucas Stronach(14 - 5 - 1) from Dallas, USA.  Messer weighed in at 226 pounds And 7 ounces, while Stronach weighed in at 233 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sean Richards, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Wynne, Nicholas Wynne and Bruce Deliz.

Stronach quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
