Mikio Nakai vs Hiro Hasegawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Hideki Hori Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 23/10/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Kyoto have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Nakai (5 - 11 - 1) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Hiro Hasegawa(6 - 9 - 1) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Nakai and Hasegawa weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Imada, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Imada, Yuji Nagai and Kenji Fujimoto.
