Harvey Andersson vs Alastair Mbarire

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Umoja Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/10/2026:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nairobi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harvey Andersson (4 - 8(1) - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Alastair Mbarire(9 - 8(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Andersson and Mbarire weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Birir, and the three ringside judges are Joe Mwirichia, Stuart Lone and Shaun Arusei.  

Round 1: 

Andersson steps inside.  Mbarire pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  Mbarire throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Andersson's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
