Umair Yazid vs Gazi Abdou

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Azam Malick Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 25/10/2026:

Clearly AI UAE-Dubai have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Umair Yazid (12(5) - 5 - 1) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Gazi Abdou(14(4) - 4 - 1) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Yazid and Abdou weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Bacchus, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Elmoudawi, Syed Aman and Aftab Emami.
